I had the opportunity to film my college friend for a private viewing at LACMA! She is a genealogist learning about her royal ancestors and had organized with the county to let her see her kingdom's artifacts up close and personal. The film shoot was a treat to learn the history of the Benin Kingdom and to see real historical items that are centuries old. Not only that, I always enjoy getting to whip out the camera, interacting with subjects and discovering such interesting detail. Check out Adeyinka Glover's video below!
Yinka had a fantastic idea to put all 16 artifacts in a 4x4 grid - I was able to achieve this via After Effects and it turned out great!
